What are Lenticular Images?
Lenticular' images are specially constructed pictures that 'move' or simulate
depth in order to generate attention and visual interest. Viewing 'interlaced'
pictures through plastic screens that are made of many 'lenticules' or lenses
creates these images. Common techniques include combining different images together
that 'flip' between each other, creating video-like motion and simulating a
3-dimensional effect.
The lenticular material is made up of tiny ridges or lenses (hence the name
"lenticular" printing). We take multiple images and interlace or weave
them together. When that woven image is printed to the back of the lenticular
material, the lenses hide all but one image at a time. As the viewing angle
changes, the images that is shown to your eye rotates to the next in the series.
When a series of images are run before your eyes it creates animation.
LENTICULAR is the cutting edge stereoscopic image which overcomes the limitation
of the conventional flat photo tech by recomposing and producing 3 dimensional
images. 3 Dimensional LENTICULAR is the most spotlighted image system for the
next generation. LENTICULAR images come to be made by combining the advanced
lithographic printing method to computer graphic technology.
3D LENTICULAR images contain more than double quantity of information in the
same space compared with 2 dimensional image. Due to its excellent artistic
properties, 3D LENTICULAR images can be recommended for interior decoration.
